Siege
Spend Gold or Platinum to attack a player's Siege Defense. Succeed and take their hoard of currency for your own!
Build a Siege Defense of 3 decks and set a bounty. Repel attacking players to add their fees to your earnings!
Siege Attack Rules
In Siege Attack, you will choose a deck to play against another player's Siege Defense. If you defeat all of the defender's decks in a single siege attempt, you will claim their entire bounty as a reward. You will also claim any Siege Sacks that the defense has accrued.
When you enter Siege Attack, you can search a list of available defenders to attack. When you select to attack, you must pay a fee equal to a percentage (40%) of that defense’s current bounty. You must then select a Standard legal deck to use in the Siege Attack. Initiating the attack will remove the defender from the available Siege Defense list, as only 1 player may be attacking a defense at a time.
You will then be taken to the Siege Assault screen, where you will battle against a 3-deck gauntlet, setup by the defender. You will face each deck 1 at a time, in order, (best of 1, no reserves,) with an AI controlling the defending decks. The defender's decks may contain cards from any set, including non-PvP cards and equipment. You have a few seconds between each game, but you must complete the entire assault in a single session. If you lose any of the 3 games, you will have failed to attack successfully, and the defender will retain their bounty. Defeating all 3 decks will claim the defender's entire bounty as your reward and will award Siege Sacks to both you and the defender.
Siege Defense Rules
In Siege Defense, you will assign currency as a bounty, and then create a gauntlet of decks that the AI will use to protect your bounty. A successful defense will earn you currency and increase your bounty with each victory.
When creating Siege Defense decks in the deck builder, you may use any PvP cards, PVE cards, and equipment in your collection. You may also use any PvP gems and champions. To submit a valid Siege defense, you must assign 3 decks and set a prize bounty. (The minimum bounty values are 50 platinum or 1000 gold.)
Once submitted, your name will show up in a list of all siege defenders and players will be able to try and claim the bounty you set by attacking your defense. When attacked, your Siege Defense decks will be challenged in order from left to right, and an AI will pilot your decks against the attacking player’s deck. As soon as your Siege Defense has been challenged, you will receive currency from the attacking player equal to a percentage of the defense’s current bounty. (The attacking player pays 40% of your bounty as a fee to attack. That fee is divided up so that 50% goes straight to your account, 37.5% will be added to the bounty itself, and the remainder is lost.) Whenever your bounty increases, the fee to attack you increases as well.
If the attacking player manages to defeat all 3 of your decks, they will have succeeded in defeating your defenses and will claim your bounty as their reward. However, if any of your 3 decks scores a victory over the attacker's deck, you will have successfully defended your bounty and repelled their attack! Each time you repel an attacker, or when a significant amount of time has passed, your Defense will accrue Siege Sacks as additional bounty. When your Defense is finally defeated, both you and the attacker will receive the accumulated Siege Sacks as a reward.
At any time, you may elect to withdraw your submitted Siege Defense. Withdrawing will remove your Siege Defense from the available defenders list and return all currency in your siege bounty back to your account. You will not earn any Siege Sacks for withdrawing, you will only receive them if your Defense is defeated. If your Siege Defense is currently being attacked, your withdraw request will be processed after the current attack attempt has concluded, otherwise, you will withdraw immediately.
